1. What’s it all about?
You can feel it; things are not on a good path.
Covid-19 was a curveball, but it’s now exposing a bankrupt, hollowed-out-economy suffocated by crushing mountains of debt, addicted to stimulus (money-printing), and devoid of meaningful opportunity.
Real security is tougher than ever to attain, and the cost of living – education, healthcare, housing, even healthy food – is bananas.
The confidence we shared growing up in America… it’s mostly given way to quiet discomfort. You run faster and faster every month, just to stay in place.
Our kids – God bless ’em – won’t have an easy go of it. The American Dream, it seems, is now reserved for the privileged few.
Debt, bank bailouts, Jeffrey Epstein (and all he represents), finger-pointing, and race-baiting have all but destroyed communities built on savings, freedom, personal responsibility, and collaboration.
The natural world buckles under the strain of a growth-at-any-cost culture, while the social and political climate are downright Orwellian.
What’s a parent to do?
Curl up and weep into a glass of Jack Daniels, while bureaucrats prepare your kids like wind-up toys headed straight for a flogging?
Heck no, not your family, nor mine. We roll sleeves, work hard, and stay optimistic. We trek onward, upward, smile often, and find faith that purpose, opportunity, and real community befall our kids.
Ready for the good news?
What if I told you that I’ve discovered the root of nearly all of the world’s biggest problems? Digging for over 20 years, I finally put the pieces together. Our readers know it, too.
Once we figured it out, things got better. Better without the blindfold.
We can share the secret with you, and while we can’t save the world all by ourselves, once you see it, you can start to improve things for your family. You start to connect the dots and better shape the pieces around you. It’s just easier when you can see behind the curtain.
Can you imagine the advantage your kids will have, to “get it” early?
There’s no magic formula, no get-rich-quick scheme, but the time you spend working, learning, raising children, lending hands, and breaking bread on this beautiful, mixed up planet will go a lot farther when you understand the big hoax. Your efforts are better directed when you see the big flimflam.
What is it, you ask?
The big bamboozle, the giant con, is the crooked paper money system. It’s a massive fraud. And your family (like mine, and all of our friends) are groomed to be the marks.
Spend some time on our site, read our monthly column, and you’ll hear all about it.
Better yet, our bedtime stories will walk your family through everything, in just the right order.
2. What do you mean by “better” bedtime stories?
Kids’ books – Dragon’s Love Tacos, The Day the Crayon’s Quit – are cute, and fun at first, but a giant whiff, missing the opportunity to open your kids’ minds about the world – and risks – that await.
Kids grow up fast. One second, you’re cutting grapes in half, and the next, they’re on their own, working odd jobs, getting stuffed with predatory financial products, just trying to make the monthly rent.
Your opportunity responsibility is to help them navigate the real world.
Fairytales just set them up for failure.
So does the school system. Why? The money system is a confidence game. It needs sheep to sheer, cows for milking, and hogs to slaughter.
To avoid this fate, you have to open their eyes today.
You have to show them how the system really works, to help them learn to think independently, step away from the herd, and question authority.
Don’t worry; we can help with that. Rest assured, we won’t take the fun out of story time. We add a bigger purpose, educating, enlightening, and entertaining the whole family.
3. What is the first book?
The delightful beginning – “Where does money come from?” – will educate your family about subtle changes to the money system and how they quietly impacted America over the last 50 years.
From the back-cover:
The American Dream is now reserved for the privileged few. Most of us know something is wrong, but don’t quite know what, or more importantly, why.
The real problem dates to 1971, when gold was removed from the money system. This subtle move tipped the playing field, hollowing out America with debt. Tragic for most, it’s been a massive boon for a small cabal of insiders who see behind the curtain and understand the mechanics.
At BadDaddy Publishing, we’ve spent two decades studying finance, history, and economics to piece together this important story. The advantage your kids bring to the subject is their refreshing innocence, unspoiled by the groupthink that engulfs all of us as we grow older.
Some things are best understood with only childlike commonsense.
Join us, as we open their mind through story in a full-color, original and beautifully illustrated premium hardback designed to educate, enlighten, and entertain the whole family. Only you can plant the seeds they’ll need to navigate the world of money, debt, human psychology, and the social contract.
It takes a child, after all, to tell the world that the emperor has no clothes.
4. What is the publishing schedule thereafter?
We’re releasing a new book in the series every three months. Next up, “Good-Debt, Bad-Debt, and the Big Green Blob”, followed by “The Big Bad Business Cycle”. Coming later, “Fear and Greed”, “The Madness of Crowds”, “Right Law, Wrong Law”, and “A Job Well Done”.
5. What ages are the books for?
We take complicated concepts and bring them down to a child’s level. Each will understand at their own pace, sometimes after the first go-round, and others after repetition. We spark conversation during that nightly ritual, allowing parents and children to discuss, debate and help each other elaborate.
The sweet spot might be ages 6-10, but don’t wait. Is it ever too early to learn about touching a hot stove? Only by challenging your children can you expect meaningful growth.
Toddlers aren’t going to get the message, but love the ritual. They’d read anything with Mom or Dad, and that gives you time to master the concepts yourself. Mix it in gradually. Their understanding will grow through repetition and recognition as their brain develops, and discussions follow.
Imagine the advantages they’ll have later in life.
Preteens are too old for picture books – so they say – but they’ll “get it” quickly, and need it most (before they get spit out into a world that won’t be kind to the unprepared).
This is the starting point for a lifetime of curious, independent thinking, cracking the nuts that too often allude us all until we learn the hard way (jaded, pockets empty, and opportunities lost).
If you miss the opportunity because your kids aren’t the “right” age, you’ll never turn back to get it right.
6. Are they hard or soft cover?
They are hard cover, full color, and premium quality.
7. What is the cost?
For individual orders, the cost is $24.99, but Alliance Partners receive a rate of $14.99 each.
The Alliance Partnership delivers lifetime savings of 40% on all of our better bedtime stories, which saves $10 per copy. Unlike orders placed individually, Alliance Partners order once, and receive automated deliveries of each book once it’s ready (4 times per year).
Prior to shipment, you’ll receive an email notification alerting you of the new title, confirming your card on file will be charged $14.99 (plus tax and $3.75 for shipping), and your delivery window. You can cancel anytime, but cancelled partnerships are no longer eligible for the Alliance (though can still buy the books at the individual rate in the future).
Quantity discounts are also available (schools and libraries, contact us).
8. Why does the cost vary for individuals versus Alliance Partners?
We’re focused on building partnerships with free-thinking parents through the Alliance.
Because subscribers can cancel their partnership anytime, you can still get a single book for $14.99, a competitive price at this quality. If you don’t like it, return it for a full refund, and we’ll cancel your membership. If you do, wait on the edge of your seat for each book to follow every 3-4 months.
Log into your Account anytime to stop (or pause) your membership.
Caution: Our books are not for everyone.
They will open your family’s eyes to the world around you – the good, bad and ugly, secrets of money, debt, entrepreneurship, and success – revealing the wizard behind the curtain.
If you are looking for entertainment alone, there are plenty of cheap books you can obtain for a few bucks on Amazon. Our stories are for families that want more for their children, who understand the world in front of them is of their own making, but they better prepare.
You won’t find us in your local bookstore, and we’re not on Amazon. Uncle Remis can’t tell you, and neither can Santa Claus. This is your chance, right here, to take back control.
Resilience starts in the home with Better Bedtime Stories.
9. Is satisfaction guaranteed?
Send it back for any reason at all. If you do like it, cherish it for as long as your kids are young, then tuck it away for the grandkids.
10. Where can I order?
We’re taking orders online exclusively at https://thebaddaddy.com/shop/. We are not distributing through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or other book sellers. We might in the future, but for now we prefer to have a direct relationship with you, our customer, rather than getting lost on the shelves.
We don’t take telephone orders (or phone calls without appointment), but feel free to send us an email with questions or to schedule a call to discuss quantity orders, firstname.lastname@example.org.
11. Can Alliance Partners get the discount on gift orders?
Yes, Alliance Members receive a 40% discount – $14.99 per book on all orders. As premium quality hardcovers, these make great birthday, baby shower, or Christmas gifts.
Contact us for gift orders of individual books by Alliance Members.
12. Is there a membership fee for Alliance Partners?
No, only the cost of the books, 3-4 per year, at $14.99 each, charged only when they become available, with email notification in advance, cancellable anytime.
If membership fees are added in the future, existing Alliance Partners will be exempt. Alliance Partnerships can also be gifted to friends or family in the future under the terms of your Partnership (i.e. no membership fees), for example, if your kids grow up, or you’d like to pass it down in your will.
13. What is the shipping timeframe?
To keep shipping costs as low as possible, we use USPS Media Mail, which is 3-7 days depending on your distance from our fulfillment center in New Jersey. Allow up to two days for processing.
You will receive a shipping confirmation email once the order is sent.
14. Do you offer giftwrapping or gift-messaging?
Not currently. Sorry about that, and we’ll keep it in mind for the future.
You can ship gifts to your home, wrap and deliver by hand, or you can email your recipients in advance to let them know an unwrapped gift is on the way from BadDaddy Publishing.
